Fabrica for ars fabricandi

ars fabricandi and Fabrica:

partnership of values

It is with great excitement that ars fabricandi announces that it will produce six exquisite design works created by as many young scholars of Fabrica, under the coordination and supervision of the world-famous designer Sam Baron.

Fabrica is a communication research centre based in Treviso, Italy, and is an integral part of the Benetton Group. Established in 1994 from a vision of Luciano Benetton, Fabrica offers young people from around the world a one-year scholarship, accommodation and a round-trip ticket to Italy, enabling a highly diverse group of researchers, including Designers.

Fabrica is based in a campus centred on a 17th-centry villa, restored and significantly augmented by renowed Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

The six talents that created for ars fabricandi are Jo-Chieh Huang (Taiwan), Anne-Claire Hostequin (France), Ainhoa Garmendia (Spain), Angeles Ortiz (Ecuador), Daniel Rous (UK) and Quentin Vuong (France).
